Featured Artist Amy Darr and A Hunger Games Necklace Giveaway

I am excited to introduce Artist Amy Darr of AD Inc Jewelry! Amy is truly a fashion maven. Her style and appreciation of vintage and found materials comes through loud and clear in her jewelry. In just a few years, she has created a jewelry line that resonates her creative voice with an eclectic blend of extraordinary pieces that can be worn daily or for a special event.

Amy’s interest in jewelry design began when she found an arrowhead at an antique store and thought to herself that it would make an amazing necklace. She used her appreciation of Native American culture and her love for fashion and created her first arrowhead necklace. Since then she has been creating these beautiful necklaces which have become one of her signature pieces.

This radiant Turquoise Arrowhead Necklace ($50) features a  2 1/2″ by 1 1/4″ arrowhead that is wrapped in silver wiring.

Amy realized she had a special talent for jewelry design while working as a fashion stylist. She started out by adding a few pieces of the jewelry she had created to the outfits she was styling at a fashion show in Denver. She was excited to see how well her pieces worked with the outfits and realized how much fun it was to create something special that others could wear.

Amy learned her great appreciation for jewelry from her Grandma Hustad who taught her at a young age how to mix and match all styles of jewelry to create her own individual style. Amy has paid special attention to create pieces that look great worn by themselves or layered with other jewelry. This lovely Engraved Heart Necklace ($20) features a vintage bronze engraved heart charm attached to an antique bronze chain. This gorgeous Tree of Life Necklace ($20) features an antique bronze tree of life charm pendant attached to an antique bronze chain.

 

I absolutely adore this Anchor Charm Necklace ($40)! It features an antique silver anchor charm attached to a silver chain.

 

Amy makes beautiful Metal Bracelets with Leather Cording. Each bracelet features a metal pendant and adjustable leather cord. Pictured to the left: Bronze LOVE Bracelet, Silver Cross Bracelet, Silver LOVE Bracelet, and Bronze Open Heart Bracelet ($20 each).

Amy lives in Bozeman, Montana with her husband and 4 dogs. She loves the outdoors, spending time with friends and family, and traveling.

Amy finds great purpose in designing unique and special jewelry that others can wear to create their own sense of style.
