Halloween “Old School” Photo Contest

Prize Details: The Prize Winner will receive a $50 Target gift card. Mindful Shopper will also donate $50 for Breast Cancer Awareness in the name of the Prize Winner.
Sponsor: This Photo Contest is sponsored by the Mindful Shopper Website.
Photo Contest Instructions: No purchase is necessary to enter or win. A purchase or payment will not increase the Entrant’s chances of winning the Contest. To enter the Photo Contest, you must enter a photo of yourself as a child, as an adult, or of your children (photo should be at least 5 years old) in a Halloween costume. The Prize Winner of the Photo Contest will be the Entrant that submits the photograph that receives the most confirmed votes from the voting public during the applicable Contest Period. Each voter can vote for as many photographs as they like, but may vote no more than once each day for any one photograph. Voting Starts: Monday October 29th 2012. Contest Ends: Sunday November 4th 2012, at 9:00pm (Central Time).
How To Enter The Contest: Simply click on this link: http://bit.ly/UzfJW1. Become a Mindful Shopper Facebook Fan by “liking” the Mindful Shopper Facebook Page, which will then take you to the Photo Contest Entry Form. If you are already a Mindful Shopper Facebook Fan, you will automatically be forwarded to the Sweepstakes Entry Form.
Prize Eligibility: The Photo Contest is open to anyone 18 years or older, as of the date of entry. The Photo Contest is void where restricted or prohibited by law. The Sponsor reserves the right to deny any entry based on submission of incomplete information or non-compliance with these Official Rules.
Winner Selection and Notification: The photograph that receives the most public on-line votes during the Contest Period will be deemed the winning Contest photograph. The Prize Winner will be notified Wednesday, November 7th, 2012 via direct email.
Odds of Winning: The odds of winning the Photo Contest are a function of a number of factors including, but not limited to, the number of entries, number of votes cast, number of votes you cause to be cast for your photo, and quality of the photograph.
General Terms and Conditions: Participation in this Photo Contest constitutes full and unconditional agreement to, and acceptance of, these Official Rules. Each Entrant in the Contest must be the owner of the photograph, or otherwise have the right to submit the photograph for consideration in the Contest. For a photo containing the likeness of any person, the Entrant must have permission from that person to submit the photo. Photos may be approved or rejected based on the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Only those photos that are approved for posting will be deemed eligible to win the Contest. No substitution or compensation will be given for any portion of the Prize that is not used, lost, misplaced, or destroyed. All federal, state, and/or local income and other taxes, if any, are the Prize Winner’s sole responsibility. If a Prize Winner cannot be contacted or is disqualified, the Sponsor reserves the right to determine an alternate Prize Winner. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole direction, to terminate, modify or suspend the Contest, at any time for any reason if there is any suspected or actual evidence of tampering with any portion of the Contest, or if any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control, including, without limitation, if a computer virus, bug, or other technical problem or security breach corrupts the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Contest. If the Photo Contest is terminated, the Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to award the prize at random from among eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of the suspected impairment. Participation in this Contest constitutes permission to use the Prize Winner’s name and Photo for promotional purposes without compensation. Entrants should use their own discretion when sharing information about the Contest as to avoid over-burdening Facebook and/or Twitter with multiple daily submissions. The Sponsor is not responsible if Facebook and/or Twitter decide the Entrant is inappropriately using these platforms and reprimands him/her, restricts usage of the platform, or prohibits use of the platform. The Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to amend and interpret these Official Rules at any time.
Limitations of Liability: The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any photographs. No inappropriate, indecent or obscene photographs may be submitted to the Contest or submitted for display on the Contest Website. Visitors to the Contest may notify the Sponsor of any photographs or captions that appear to violate these Official Rules. The Sponsor will use its best efforts to exclude any such photographs or captions; however, the Sponsor is not a publisher of the photographs; it is merely providing a forum for the display of these photographs for voting purposes and, therefore, the Sponsor expressly disclaims any and all liability associated with the display of any of the photographs in the Contest.
Sponsor makes no warranties, representations, or guarantees, express or implied, in fact or in law, in regards to this promotion or the merchantability, quality, or fitness for a particular purpose regarding the Prize. The Sponsor disclaims all liability of any delays, mis-delivery, loss, or failure in the delivery of the Prize sent by mail, courier, express, or other delivery method. By participating, Entrants agree that the Sponsor is not responsible or liable for, and shall be released and held harmless from: (a) electronic, hardware or software program, network, internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties of any kind; (b) any condition caused by events beyond the control of the Sponsor that may cause the Contest to be disrupted or corrupted: (c) any and all legal claims, costs, losses, damages, rights, claims, and actions of any kind in connection with or resulting from participation in the Contest; acceptance, possession, or use of the Prize, including without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and; claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.
